Introduction#
Shadowrocket is a client for iOS that supports the SSR protocol and is commonly referred to as "Little Rocket". The software has an intuitive interface and is easy to use.
Adding Servers#
- Import by Scanning QR Code
If you have a QR code for a node, you can directly click the scan button in the top left corner of Shadowrocket, and the software will automatically recognize and add it.
-
Import by Copying Node Link
Node links usually start with characters like ssr:// or vmess://. When you open the Shadowrocket app, it will automatically detect the content in the clipboard and identify the node information. A pop-up window will ask if you want to save it. Click confirm to add it. -
Manual Addition
You can manually fill in the node information based on what you know.
- Subscription Link
Open Shadowrocket, click the plus button in the top right corner, and in the new page, select "Subscribe" as the type. In the "URL" field, paste your subscription link. Leave the "Max" field blank and fill in the "Remarks" field as desired. Click the done button in the top right corner, and Shadowrocket will retrieve the subscription information from the server and add the nodes.
Starting the Service#
-
Latency Test
Click "Connectivity Test" and after a few seconds, a value will appear on the right side of the node. This latency is unrelated to internet speed. To perform the latency test, select "CONNECT" for the real link.
-
Select Node
It is recommended to select a node with low latency. After that, turn on the switch at the top. If it is your first time using it, you will be prompted to add a VPN connection. Click "Allow" and follow the system prompts to verify your password or use Touch ID. After that, Shadowrocket will automatically return to the interface and start the service.
The "Global Routing" option is recommended to be set to the default configuration to achieve automatic routing without affecting connections to domestic services.
After completing the above steps, you can enjoy using it.
Note: The yellow dot indicates the selected node.#
