Account Deletion Process#
Open the website https://my.Telegram.org/delete;
In the "Your Phone Number" field, enter the phone number associated with your account. Please note that you need to include the country code before the number;
In the "Confirmation Code" field, enter the verification code received on your Telegram account;
Click the blue button "Sign In";
In the "Why are you leaving" field, enter any content you like;
Click the blue button "Delete My Account";
Press "Yes, delete my account" to immediately delete your account.
Account Deletion Reminder#
If you delete your account, all your messages and contacts will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
All the groups and channels you created will lose their creators, but the administrators will retain their rights.
Account Registration Reminder#
If you frequently register and delete your account using the same phone number, you may not be able to register again for several days.
The re-registered account is a completely new account with a new ID. You can set new profile information and rejoin groups that were previously banned on your old account. However, there is no connection between the new account and the previous account, and you cannot retrieve messages or groups created on the old account.
